How to prevent Arthritis

There is no such sure method to prevent Arthritis. But still, there are certain healthy habits and methods that if you adopt will reduce the chances of developing these painful joints as you grew older. If you are currently having healthy joints, make sure to maintain their movability and functionality and avoid the pain causing activities to them.
Presently, Arthritis is of more than 100 types and all have certain risk factors and circumstances that are associated with the disease. There are three main types of arthritis; Rheumatoid Arthritis(RA),  Osteoarthritis(OA), and Psoriatic Arthritis(PA).

The best way to prevent arthritis is to adopt healthy lifestyle behaviors which will reduce the risk of arthritis and other painful joints problems.

> Diet: To maintain a good healthy life, a balanced healthy diet plays the most important role. Including green vegetables and fruits in your daily diet reduces the risk of developing painful joints. Ingesting poor nutritional food such as high-calorie junk food, spicy food, leads to heart problems, diabetes, and many other diseases. To achieve a healthy weight and a good body, a balanced diet is necessary.

> Exercise: Doing regular physical activity like walking, jogging, cycling, recreational activities greatly reduces the chances of arthritis. Regular exercise also reduces the chances of heart failures, high blood pressure problems, diabetes, and obesity and helps in building a good Apart from preventing painful joints, regular exercises help to reduce the joint stiffness and pain and make strong muscles around the joint; it also increases the flexibility and endurance.

> Weight: Maintaining a healthy body weight also plays an important role in preventing arthritis. An obese person is having greater chances to suffer from arthritis as compared to a normal weight person. An obese person or overweight persons are more likely to suffer from chronic disease because the joints which are bearing the load of the body have to bear more weight which increases the stress on cartilage and ligaments. An obese person has too much fat in his body which causes a lot of inflammation in his body which makes their joint more painful.

> Consumption of Alcohol and Tobacco: Consuming alcohol and tobacco leads to serious health problems such as liver damage, lungs problems, and even cancer. If you consume any one of these, try to avoid them as much as possible which will reduce the risk of all chronic diseases. Consuming excessive alcohol has a negative impact on bone mass and it contributes to weight gain.
